Homebook — my flagship build

Not a website — a full school-management platform I designed and built from the ground up: secure logins, student records, gradebooks, attendance, report cards, parent portals, and Arkansas compliance, all in one system. Also native iPhone and Android apps, live on the App Store and Google Play. It's the most extensive thing I've built. Systems at this scope get their own quote; the Custom Build's from-$5,000 is where a site with its own systems starts, not what a Homebook costs.

Mountain Springs Storage, Cabot

A storage facility that rents itself. Customers pick a unit, pay online, and get their own gate code without an office visit or a phone call — plus a size estimator that talks them into the right unit instead of the cheapest one. Built before the gates opened, so it takes reservations while the site is still under construction.

The Care Plan is optional. Here's exactly what changes with it and without it.

Yours, plan or no plan

  • Your site files and your domain, in your name once the build is paid for.
  • Skip the plan or cancel it and I hand it all over within two weeks of asking: the files, plus help moving your domain to your own account if I registered it for you.
  • No cancellation fee and no minimum term. A plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for.

Without a plan

  • Hosting and the yearly domain renewal are yours to pay for and manage.
  • Changes are quoted one at a time, from $100.

With a plan, each month

Adding a custom tool to a site you already have starts at $3,000. A full site plus its systems — The Custom Build — starts at $5,000. Native mobile apps are larger, multi-week builds, quoted per project. Either way, you'll get a real number before we start — never a surprise on the invoice.

How much does a website actually cost?

From $750 for a one-page site, from $2,500 for a full business site, and from $5,000 for a custom build — a site plus the systems that run it. Add-ons are priced up front, and care plans start at $45 a month, depending on what your site does. The number you approve is the number you pay. If your project needs something unusual, I'll tell you before we start, not on the invoice.

Can I get an AI assistant like yours on my site?

Yes. It's an add-on for a website on a care plan: $500 to set up, then $75 a month, which covers up to 300 conversation-minutes a month, about 100 calls or chats. Extra minutes are 20¢ each. It answers questions from your own business info, takes leads and booking requests and emails them to you, and it always tells people it's an AI. How long does it take?

About a week for a one-pager and about two weeks for a business site once I have your photos and details. You'll see a private preview link early and often, so nothing is a surprise at launch.

Do I own my website?

Completely. Your domain, your files, your content, all in your name. If you leave the Care Plan or we part ways, everything goes with you. No hostage situations.

What if I skip or cancel the Care Plan?

Your site stays yours. I hand over the files within two weeks of asking, and if I registered your domain, I'll help you move it to your own account. From then on, hosting and the yearly domain renewal are yours to pay for and manage, and changes are quoted one at a time, from $100. There's no cancellation fee and no minimum term.

Can you do my logo and branding too?

Yes. Logo, colors, typography, business cards, social templates, and print materials, all designed together so your brand looks like one business everywhere it shows up.

Who writes the words and takes the pictures?

We build them together. You know your business; I know what works on a page. Photo and copy guidance is included with every business site, and I polish everything before it goes live.

Where are you located?

Central Arkansas raised and based, going on 35 years. We can meet over coffee, I'll come see your shop, and when you call, I answer. Try getting that from an agency three time zones away.
